Twins touring is the brain child of marienne & shelley te haara.
we are passionate about the heavy scene, particularly in austrlia and aotearoa. before covid, bands would hardly travel to nz, unless they were already hitting australia and knew they had a decent following here. with that, we found ourselves flying back and fourth across the ditch just to be able to see those acts we enjoy. with marienne based in sydney and me (shelley) in auckland, we kept coming across bands that wanted to play across the diTch, both ways, but didn’t know how to make it work. so we decided to do something about it.
though there are people who have tried to make festivals happen, more gigs happen etc. we figured it can’t hurt to have more people trying to do the same. however we acknowledge the incredible work of ben/valhalla touring.
Whilst we are a new company, we are not new to the industry and look forward to working with more artists and expanding to other genres in the future.
